So thankful for the time all eleven of us had to get to experience a little bit of heaven on Sea Glass Found! We had an amazing time and feel a little spoiled by all that we were able to do and enjoy! Our cottages were so comfortable and relaxing, the golf carts perfect for touring Man - O - War Cay, sunrises and sunsets amazing, beaches with Kayaks, paddle boards and sea glass - so fun, being able to use the two boats to island hop, check out wonderful restaurants and bars and go fishing, snorkeling, as well as feed the stingrays added to our amazing experience! Colin the on-site manager for Sea Glass Found was the icing on the cake by making sure we were able to do and see it all as our tour guide and boat captain! What a blessing he was to our group! So thoughtful, kind, fun and knowledgeable about all things Bahamas! Island time is very special and we are all ready to go back as soon as we can!

Our family recently chose SeaGlass as our vacation spot for a 5 day getaway and it did not disappoint! At just a 15 minute boat ride from Marsh Harbor, arrival to our final destination was a breeze. We were met by our Captain and go to guy, Colin, who was amazing! He facilitated everything during our stay, not only making great recommendations, but actually helping us with anything we needed, from reservations in restaurants to anything we needed on the property. The property is just how it seems in the pictures, PERFECT. Its views are spectacular and breathtaking from any and all angles. We were lucky, as the pool had just been completed the day we got there, It overlooks the ocean in what has to be one of the best views. The kids and adults enjoyed all the toys provided including paddle boards, tubing, water trampoline, and the most amazing zip line which ends in the ocean! The golf carts provided were also a great way to get around the property as well as our visit into town.

Our vacation at Sea Glass Found exceeded our expectations! We loved exploring the secluded peninsula, and everywhere you look there are water views. Each morning, we enjoyed walking the private beaches and using the paddleboards and kayaks before hopping on the golf carts for breakfast at the local coffee shop. Having the boats and a captain included with the booking was a big perk. Captain Colin took us island hopping where we saw tons of wildlife and picturesque scenery. At night, we had a sunset beach bonfire, and a local chef cooked an incredible meal. The water-view cottages were clean, spacious, and well appointed. Many thanks to the property hosts, Stan and Captain Colin, for taking great care of us. We plan to book again next year!

Best Vacation Ever! Stan helped with trip planning - grocery stocking, scheduling airport pickup, a private chef & restaurant reservations. Once on the island, we were blown away by the scenery & size of the property. The homes are updated, clean, comfortable, and all have water views. The property is well stocked with new cookware, comfy linens, smart TVs, and tons of water toys. Highlights included sunrises over the Atlantic, paddleboarding/kayaking, the sunset beach bonfire, and the kids had a blast exploring the calm waters surrounding the island. Colin, the local host & boat captain, made us feel welcome and was great with the kids. We snorkeled, fished, swam with sea turtles, and tubed/wakeboarded - the boats are comfortable and fast! We explored the adorable community of Man O War on the new golf carts. Many restaurants are a short boat drive away, and the sunset dinner at Firefly was the perfect ending to our trip. Where to begin! We had the most wonderful stay, and created memories as a family we will never forget. From the moment we booked, Stanton was so lovely to communicate with and so responsive. We even had to make a slight shift to our reservation and he handled it right away. We arrived to the most picturesque island, with white sand and crystal clear turquoise water, greeted by Colin who made our stay unforgettable. Every moment felt surreal because of how beautiful it is there. Colin is so knowledgeable about the island and its history. He was so accommodating, taking us to different islands on the boat every day, and so reliable. If we needed anything, we knew we could call Colin, from fresh aloe for sunburns to local honey. He was the highlight of this trip and our whole family will miss him! We had such a special stay here, and cannot wait to return!

Compared to other tropical destinations, it’s easy travel to Sea Glass Found + tons of dining and experiences nearby! Sea Glass Found sits on the northern tip of Man-O-War Cay in the Abacos, Bahamas.

Hop on a golf cart and drive 10 minutes to the historic community of Man-O-War Cay — a well-stocked grocery, a coffee/breakfast shop in the island museum, local shops (including the famous Albury Sail Shop), and snack/dining options like Dock-N-Dine and the Snack Shack.

Thanks to Man-O-War’s central location, you’re a short, scenic boat ride (15 minutes to 1 hour) from famous Abacos attractions and 30+ dining options, from fine dining to beach bars. After booking, we provide a complete things-to-do list, charter boat recommendations, and can advise on trip planning.

FAQ

  • One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 70 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 35 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 35 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
  • Hurricanes: In the event of an approaching hurricane or tropical storm, we provide FULL REFUNDS. If a storm is approaching while your group is on property, we will take caution, evacuate, and refund the remainder of your stay.
  • Rain: In the event of rainy weather, we cannot offer refunds.
  • We do understand that things come up, and we try our best to work with our guests in emergency situations that require cancellation. In the event of a cancellation within the 70 day window, we will make every effort to rebook the property in hopes of providing a full refund.

In 2019, Hurricane Dorian devastated Sea Glass Found and the northern Bahamas. Thus, we take severe weather very seriously. In the event of an approaching hurricane, we offer full refunds. In the event you are on property during an approaching storm, we take a cautious approach and will evacuate your group in plenty of time.

In general, the weather is sunny and warm. When rain storms occur, they often move quickly through the area. The hottest month is August with average temperatures in the mid 80s. The coldest month is January with average temperatures in the mid 70s. The dry season spans from November to June, while the wet season starts in July and ends in December. When traveling during the wet season, expect to see an increase in rainfall – but still plenty of beach days

  • Please check out the sample itinerary for more details, but most guests cook a few meals on their own (we have two fully stocked kitchens!), hire Chef Vandea to make some incredible meals, grab breakfast in the town of Man-O-War at the local coffee shop or lunch at Dock-N-Dine, and there are lots of restaurants within a short boat ride.

    • On the island of Man-O-War, there is also a well stocked, but smaller grocery store. 
  • The Abacos are considered some of the safest islands in The Bahamas and are known for being family-friendly. The Abaco Islands have only a population of around 17,000 and are made up of Great Abaco, Little Abaco, and several smaller barrier cays. 

We recommend flying into Marsh Harbor International Airport (MHH). From there, we will have vans waiting to pick you up to transport you to the docks. On the way from the airport to the boat dock, most guests make a grocery + package store visit in Marsh Harbor before heading to Sea Glass Found. From the docks, it is a ~20 minute boat ride across the Sea of Abaco – your first of many scenic boat rides!

  • We partner with licensed and professional charter boat and fishing companies that have awesome boat rentals that can be self-captained or a captain can be hired.
  • Our captains are experienced with local knowledge of the waterways. Guests must know their own limits and exercise caution while on the boats and around the water.

    • We partner with some local Chefs that we can arrange to prepare select dinners for your group.
    • Former owners of Dock-N-Dine (destroyed during Hurricane Dorian) provide catering – excellent food!
